Kwtracey- that will be a really good time of the year to go for PIR. Any word form your daughter yet? Have you received the box of her stuff yet?
Ours was on Memorial Day weekend and the weather was really nice. What a difference a month makes Joanne!
If you're not exhausted you could make it to the M&G. I think it starts at 7? Could be wrong on the time cause that was over a year ago. But the other ladies will know and someone will be "in charge" of organizing it.
Remember to pack your GPS [ if you have one if not borrow one] as it was the single most important thing we brought with us. Invaluable.
How long has your daughter been gone now?
Cindy, we missed you, but understand that you have a lot going on right now. ((Hugs)) Can't wait for the next time.
kwtracey, Lori is right, Dianne is awesome! Just ask away on your PIR page and she will know the answer. If she doesn't, she will do everything she can to find it for you. I have been helping her with the PIR groups, so you will probably see me on there too. :)
kwtracey- I looked at your post and noticed that Dianne was listed as a friend. We've known each other for a long time now and have met. She is a wealth of knowledge and will help you with anything she can. She's a great person to ask questions of. We talk pretty regularly and she got me through a lot of tough problems [ not just Navy ones] so you couldn't have a better person on NM than her!
You already have a PIR date? That's great. Like Betsy said that is where you will hang out the most. You will find other moms hopefully from your daughter's div. When you get that first letter, kid in a box, phone call, they will all be on that site asking who else got theirs. And if you go to the Meet and Greet the day before the PIR you will get to meet the moms you have been talking to. What a memory I have of that time!
Cindy- wish you could have made it! Hope the move is going well. Hard to believe Heather is off to school soon. You going to be ok?
