HisMom- oh your son will love SD I have no doubt about that!
Joanne- so happy for you that jason gets to be there! Don't worry about the house- it's the DAY that matters!
So other than the 16th what day would we like to shoot for? And have fun on your cruise Cindy!
Thanks Betsy. Yeah it seems his Navy buddies are all really happy for him. What 22 year old would not love being someplace where all the girls are half naked all the time?
We are going to Rehobeth beach this year. We generally stick around that area. Though we don't go to OC as it's just too crowded. I like the Delaware beaches though I'd much prefer the NC beaches. We went to Kill Devil Hills 2 years ago for the first time [ to the OB] when our daughter got married [ on the beach!]. I loved how quiet it was. But it's a 6 hour drive and so it's just more convenient to stay local.
Sounds good for July then. What says everyone else? Any Saturday in July is open right now so let's snag one!
Hi Lori, Wow it does sound like the Navy is treating Paul really well. That's awesome! Your beach trip sounds fun. Have a great time. Where do you go? My husband and I love Vero Beach, FL and Hilton Head, SC. Would you believe that I haven't been to OC in many years.
Any Saturday in July is good for me, with the exception of the 4th weekend, of course. And, Columbia Mall works great for me, since I am living there now. :) My daughter may even seat us, if we go to PF Changs, since she is a hostess there. lol Let me know what works for everyone.
Betsy- I was just thinking the same thing! I haven't looked in on any Navy mom sites in quite awhile. Then this showed up in my email.
I don't really "feel" like a Navy mom as Paul is having the time of his life. School is going well for him [ told me he's got a 97GPA] this from a boy whose teachers said school "wasn't his thing". Since he's in SD he's going to the beach and mountains looking into getting a group of guys together to get scuba diving lessons! Oh this boy is having way too much fun! AND getting paid!
I've been busy and we're about to go the the beach this Saturday for a week.
So we def need to get a date on the calendar. When did everyone say that they would be free? We are still talking about meeting at Columbia Mall right?
So how does your July look Betsy?
Cindy- what a wonderful photo! Hard to not mistake them for brother and sister!
Heather is a beautiful girl.
Linda- I know you must be excited to see your son.
Betsy- I'm sure he's just loving the "busy" work! Paul couldn't wait to finally get to C school just to be working on the next step. He has a long school.
