Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

We could probably do a couple of dates as Joanne will be away and so we could do a date at my house if people can make it and then when Joanne gets back in Frederick at hers. Where in MD are you most familiar with?

I am very much looking forward to having you as an almost neighbor! Hopefully you will be moved in enough to get together for getting the christmas bags put together. Not sure where that will take place but we have to get it done by the middle of Oct so we can see what we may need. Joanne has gotten a ton of stuff and I just started picking things up. We try and meet for lunch as often as schedules allow but not everyone is close in distance. We look forward to meeting you!

Paul PROPOSED!!! we went skydiving and I was landed next to a HUGE sign that said "Cori will you marry me?" got the whole thing on video and pictures…. wonderful day <3 will remember it the rest of my life for sure. getting married next October so we get to plan this wedding from Afghanistan and the Ocean…. lol

Comment by HisMom on April 15, 2014 at 10:51am: My son has been welding since he has been in (into 3rd year now). Just got the opportunity this last year to go to Super welder school. He said going to school is a breeze after working on the ship and then doing watch all night. Hard work is good for them. Builds character.

He was certified in some sort of welding in votech and wanted to continue that path in the Navy. Looks like a hard, tough road. Good for your son for making it all the way through. That's AWESOME!
