ProudNavy/NYPD mom Donna:  We got about six inches of snow the other night, but it was very light, so between that and the suns warmth, it was gone by the next day. Channel 7 says a warm up is coming for Easter...AMEN!!!

Everyone else...thanks for making me feel welcome!  I joined the group several months ago, but BC was still so far away for my kids, I wasn't on much...but seeing that we are now counting down days as opposed to weeks or even months, it's all becoming very real.  42 days until my son leaves. Whaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!  j/k-so proud of my boy...~ahem~...man!

WOW!  So many new Moms here.  We are really glad to meet you.  Like Johanna said below, feel free to post any questions!!  No question is too big or too small & we've all had our share of each.  There are some seasoned Navy Moms and some newer, but we all have the same thing in common -- our sons & daughters are Navy sailors.  So ask away, you'll always get an answer, probably more than one!

I have to say since I've been involved I have found this to be the most congenial group of women ever.  If you need support, you'll find it here -- and for everything from missing your child to whatever.

Sometimes we are active and other times it gets quiet.  Don't worry tho Moms are always checking in to see what's happening so you'll never be alone.  We try to plan 3 events a year.  Sometimes it doesn't happen (like everything in life), but any planned activity begins here & everyone is invited; so you can get as involved as you want.

Hope you will decide to jump into the deep end -- don't worry no one will let you drown!  After all we are NAVY Moms.    :)

Hello fellow MA Moms -- it seems a little surreal to be joining this group.  My son leaves for bootcamp on 10/23/13, so I figured I'd better start learning from the most reliable source I could find -- other Navy Moms!  Looking forward to connecting with you all.

Hi Navymomx2 & welcome!!  We are hoping to have a packing party and/or a meet & greet soon.  Just waiting to hear back from some Moms, but it will be announced here.  I hope you will be able to join us Lots of new Moms, it will be fun to meet everybody.

I didn't know we were getting that much snow tonight!!!  YUCK.  Where's our spring?  Or, is this going to be a year when we go directly from winter to summer??  Hope not, I really love spring-time.

Hello, all.  Well the countdown is on.  My son leaves home on Cape Cod for bootcamp on May 7 (HM) and my daughter leaves August 20 (also HM).  What's everyone been up to?  Hope all are well.  I would be better if another half foot of snow wasn't falling overnight.
