I need some HELP.

I'm trying to locate a Navy doctor.  His name is Cmdr. James Sullivan, MD.  He is a Navy Reservist and lives in the Southbridge area.  He is a surgeon.

If you are a member of MAS, you should read the article Kimmy P. posted on the Special Hugs discussion.  Warning:  this isn't one of the easiest things I've ever seen or read (and I'm a nurse).  Have tissues handy - this is not being said lightly.  But it is about Combat Hospitals in Afghanistan. It shows you what goes on there. It will tell you about the patients and the staff.  In other words, IT WILL OPEN YOUR EYES!!

Right now we have staff changes taking place & some downsizing so, we are looking for contacts to help us find some more hospitals.  We've got $5K to spend on them and right now no one to spend the $$s on!!  If you know or know someone who knows of a CSH (combat support hospital), or a corpsman, anyone who might help us connect with a CSH, please track down the info and get it to me or to Kimmy.

Cmdr. Sullivan was one of the staff members in the article.

Sheryl and I tracked down this MD this afternoon!  I called the number of the hospital where he is Chief of the Emergency Dept.  They put me right thru to his personal voicemail.  So ... of course I left a message.  Say a prayer that he gets back to me.  If we don't hear from him in a reasonable amount of time, Sheryl & I may have to resort to stalking!!!  lol  If so, get your extra money together to bail us out of jail before our hubbys & Navy sons find out we got arrested for stalking a doctor!!  Only kidding.  ;-)   I'd be be in extra trouble with Matthew being a cop.  Uh Oh.

Now I remember that he is out of there!  Matthew has been "in the area since Oct. 1st".  He's not in Behrain, but he is close - 8 nautical miles from that madman and right on the coast guarding that passage into the Persian Gulf.

My stomach is in such knots, I hope it makes it thru this deployment without getting a full-blown ulcer.  My anti-anxiety med has been my good friend today for sure.  Not a good sign.

Guess I'm gonna have to find some things to do to occupy my mind.

@Jennifer, you beat me to it!  I just heard on FOX News that Iran has fired medium range missles in the area of the international waterway.

MA Moms please keep Jennifer & my children in your prayers.  I confess, I am more than a little anxious.  My son had to guard the Iranian president a few years ago when he came to the UN General Assembly and from the pieces of info we got (mostly from my son's partner), this man is an absolute, insane madman.

Got this pic today - Matthew & his crew!  Matthew is second from left, he is not Santa.  But notice there is a Rudolph, Santa, guns and a bayonet!!  Guns and bayonet must be to keep reindeer moving!  LOL  At least they look like they are having some fun...

Just a request to say a prayer for one of our new MA Moms.  She got very bad news from home this AM.  Not my news to share details, but just please keep her in your thoughts.  Thank you

Oh Anne Marie, how exciting!!!  I am thrilled for you.  Enjoy your time with Jake!  (Like I even have to say that... LOL)  Hoping we can all get together after the holidays.
