Having trouble getting the pics on here. Am about to try something else.
OH....maybe they aren't coming up because they haven't been approved by Admin yet!! Could be, but I'm gonna try something else anyway.
Stay tuned .....
Hi Ladies, I just want to jump in and say it really was a great packing party yesterday. The UML cheerleaders jumped right in with both feet! They really liked doing the packing party and said they want to do another one. They did an awsome job collecting goodies for the Marines and writing letters of support. Also it was awsome meeting some new Moms and military friends and seeing some familiar faces. This is such a group effort and everyone's participation is what makes it possible to send support, best wishes, goodies, and love from home.
@ Donna- Your enthusiasm is contagious :) Thanks for all of your help and I cant wait to see the pic's!
Merry Christmas to all!
Hugs,
Tami
I am so glad the packing party went well, and I am so sorry I could not make it but I had to work today
Yep that's what I do
Just a really quick note to thank all the MA Mommas who came and helped the cheerleaders from UMass/Lowell today. It was, Tami & I agree, the best and most fun packing party ever!! I did a very quick count (so don't hold me to the numbers until tomorrow), but I estimate that we packed 34 packages for that group of Marines. WoooHoooo!
Right now I'm enjoying a nice hot cup of tea in my robe and slippers. Tomorrow I will find the cord and download some pics and also get a final count on the # of boxes we did.
@ Tami - thank you so much for all your work in pulling this off. I may be the one to do the paperwork, but you did so much, much more. It wouldn't have happened in such a great & big way without you. You're the best my friend. And tell your daughter I haven't reached Molly yet, but I'm working on getting the info I talked to her about.
So everyone, pat yourselves on your backs. You all deserve that and so much more. I just love being with and working with you all so much.
Enjoy the football game next Sat.!! Go NAVY. Beat ARMY.
Hugs to each and everyone of you.
Welcome Leese!! Glad to have you on board with us!!
@ Leese and anyone else who has forgotten! We are having a packing party this afternoon at UMass/Lowell, 1 University Avenue, Lowell, MA. The cheerleaders have been collecting items for the troops and we will be there to help them get their donations packed and labeled properly and sent on their way.
There is always room for more! If you have time come on over, up, or down to the University and help out a great group of young people.
@ Leese, check the packing party info above. I left some info for you.
