Sandi - please check out the discussion. As a Pats' fan we have got to try to figure something out!

Hi Lesli, Sandi, Kathy, Pauline & Helen - plus any other interested Moms: It doesn't look like September is going to work for a packing party. Molly's Adopt a Sailor has already set the shipping dates of Sept 25 - Oct 2. I think trying to do something would be too hard at this point. I've been digging through discussions in Molly's and MAS and found some things we might want to consider. Since room is limited here, let's begin a discussion (see above) where we will have room to kick things around?

Sandi, I know Chunky's in Pelham quite well myself. Small world, we could have been there at the same time & not known it! I'm not surprised that you and Kathy don't know where Plainville is - it is a fairly small town. Are you Patriots' fans? From Gillette head south on Rte. 1 and you'll come to Plainville. Not football fans? How about the Wrentham Outlets for shopping? Wrentham borders Plainville on a couple of sides.
Will let you know the when and where as soon as the details are worked out.
Take care,
Donna

I just came from one of my favorite groups (actually they all are) - Molly's Adopt a Sailor. I was scrolling through a list of names on one of the discussions and didn't find any other Moms from MA on it. There is so much happening there I went looking for people close by. So here's my 2 questions of the day: 1) Are there any other members out there? Would you let me know? {and} 2) Is there a reason for this that I don't know about being relatively new and not here when this group formed?

I just was browsing thru & came across 3 moms who don't live too far away: Kathy (AO Mom) in Dracut, Braintree Mom, and Sandi in Methuen. I used to live in Pelham, NH literally bordering your town Kathy. We moved to MA in 2001 and now live in Plainville. Lesli and I are attempting to get a New England pot luck lunch and hopefully a packing party together for this month. Any interest in attending?? Donna

Hello everyone! I received an email with an offer to host a luncheon for MA Navy Moms. Time and date are still to be determined. Lesli has graciously offered to open her new home to us. So, how about it? Do we have anyone else interested? By the way, if you aren't a part of Molly's Adopt a Sailor you may not know this but that group just won a $50K grant in the Pepsi Refresh challenge -- so this can be a celebration too. Can you imagine how many packages and items can be bought??
But, back to lunch. I'll start a discussion and you can leave your name/comments/whatever there. Hope you will find some free time to attend. We've had such a good time in the past & it is nice to put a real-live face and name with each other. Thank about it and we hope the answer is yes.
