Congratulations Joniana!!  My son is based out of Groton, CT also.  Small world.  And it gets smaller -- your son is going to Goose Creek, SC ... my younger son and I are considering SC instead of PA and one of the towns we've looked at is Goose Creek!

We only saw part of the town when we went down last year, but the little bit we went through seemed nice.

Sheryl Navy 2 -- My son is going to Nuke School at Goose Creek.  Did you retire down there?  We're thinking of an extended trip to the area if we ever get down there.  Any thoughts on the islands -- which are good, any to avoid?  (Isle of Palms, Sullivan's, Folly, Kiawah, Seabrooke, etc.)  Have heard it's a great area.

Hi Navymomx2!  We need a reunion soon!!  My son is scheduled to graduate from Nuke A School on April 4th and then I am not sure when he starts power school.  He said A School graduation is no big deal so we should visit instead when it is warmer :-)  I miss him.

Hey gang...haven't been on in a while.  My son is at FMTB West, and will graduate 3/31 before heading to 29 Palms.  My daughter is about to graduate Corpsman A school on 3/3 and just got her orders for Newport, RI!!!  An hour from home, her first choice.  How is everyone?
