I hadn't gotten any notifications in a long time but I'm still here. Sailor son is cleared for regular duty again so they moved back to the sub base in CT in early March. Lanie and the grands were home in February and I plan to visit them the end of April. Can't let them grow up without me. Hope everyone is well.

Katie finished her time on the USS George HW Bush in November and is now on shore duty for 3 years at a high security clearance position on the East coast.  In December Stephen (her sailor) proposed in Georgia while visiting his Mom for Christmas leave.  They will be married this October.  It is a little challenging with making plans while in 4 states, but it is all coming together.

Funny, I was just wondering the same thing.  I've taken on a part-time job along with my other job, so I've been busy everyday.  My Sailor is now on his 4th deployment.  He gets out in July after 7 years.  Can't believe it.  Lorraine, thanks for the Christmas card!  My aunt died mid Dec. so things just didn't get done.  We are still helping my Mom get through this.  At the end of the month, there will be the division of things(she was single), April will bring the memorial service in Alpena and we still don't know if the lawyer has finished finding all the paperwork.

Good morning!!!! Where did everybody go??? I think we need some updates!

My son is deployed somewhere in the pacific. Mainly the boat has run silent. All of a sudden one day they popped up in the Philippines for a port stop. This deployment was different as they spent quite a bit of it in Japan during the holidays.

And what are you and your sailors doing?
