DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Lorraine...not too far at all. So you'd know where Vandercook is. :-)

Lorraine & Yvette...are you talking about the Navy for Moms FB page? Or is there another page I should know about? Sending my one and only daughter out into the Navy I've just been looking for ways to stay in touch and be connected to her world without being a crazy person. :-)

MarianneKT'sMom...how does your daughter like the Navy life?

Hope you ladies have a great day! I'll be baking 8 doz. cookies for Fathers Day at church and a dessert for Sunday dinner, as well as my daughter's boyfriend's open house!

Julyasmom, you're not far from me. I'm a tiny bit SE of Tekonsha. :-)
Yvette, I wonder if I hadn't invited you to the group. I just did but the admin has to approve so give it a day then try again.

Welcome Julyasmom. You and your daughter are in for a ride but enjoy it. It's a great opportunity. Ask any questions right here in the comments and let us know when you need support. From time to time a mom will host a meet up.. Hope you can join us sometime. What part of the state are you in?

Great pictures, MichianaMom. Your son knows who to hang out with for three of them to get staff pick-up! They must have been the shining stars in the program and I'm sure you're very proud of him. Keeps him close enough for visits too. Congrats on his getting through the nuke pipeline.

Lanie and the kids got to Michigan yesterday and are at her mom's. Hopefully we'll get to see them today. Our baby granddaughter is just 4 months old and can't wait to give her some hugs and hold her. Of course, looking forward to the 6 year old boy too. Grandkids are the best!
