Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Wow Kathy did you know about this?  How exciting for them and you.  Ok Colleen what if there is only a couple of loaves?  who gets them?  with me you are safe i just want to have the cheesecake oh and the cupcakes oh and the almond bunket oh and the .........did i tell you all i really like Arnies?

Becareful Mary you might just be setting yourself up for something, lol...

Got a call last night, i think it was payback cause i woke up Dune on Friday morning, it was midnight and he said oh what time is it there Mom???   Lots of talking about some little fire and how he and the others have to march and pt and go to Indoc again and march some more but he is sooo happy that he is now Phase III and did it in two days.  Now the plan is a tattoo, yep he has been talking about this for a couple of years now.  I do believe he has shared much more information on this with his sister but she aint' telling..  I just asked him if it was going to be a big ol heart with MOM inked in the middle.. NO MOM!  to funny he is happy and i'm so proud! Later ladies!

@Kathy, Congrataulations!!! We planned Kelsey and Diego's wedding in a short seven weeks. He didn't officially ask her until we went to Chicago for his PIR in November. It was done through letters before that and Kelsey knew what she wanted and we made it happen. It was beautiful and we had a great time. Simple and elegant, I have some photos on my page. I made the cake, cupcakes and all the chocolates for the reception. Wishing you best of luck with all the planning and the special occasion!!!

Congratulations Kathy.  The next 4 months are going to be an emotional rollercoaster ride!  At least with the wedding in CA you know there won't be any snow, sleet or freezing rain to deal with.

Colleen...thanks for the info.  I HOPE to be moving around Feb.26th so may not be able to make it. I will keep it in mind though. Is this the one in Rockford at Arnie's?
