I am sitting here at my desk, thinking back on this day in 2001 when our Country was attacked. My heart still goes out to all  the families of those who lost members of their families and friends. May this NEVER happen again. Please take a minute or two out of your busy day to say a special prayer for all who lost their lives on that day and our Military men and women that have died protecting us while serving our Country.

Have a son stationed in Japan , but he is in the states for a couple weeks while they do the 3 Presidents hull swap. He came from Japan on the George Washington and going back on the Ronald Reagan. The Roosevelt will come from Va and stay in Ca so the Washington can go to Va.

And on a another note I am a first time Grandma now.

Sorry I couldn't join you ladies today.  It is always a good time with other Navy Moms around food.   I have been busy packing up everything  in my kitchen as next Monday the remodel project starts.  Hopefully the next gathering I will  make, and can bring pictures of our new kitchen .
