Hello everyone    My son graduate from A school ATO in pencacola 4/28 so I will be headed that way for his graduation.  Hopefully he will get leave and get to come home for a little bit before he moves on.  He hasn't gotten his orders yet so very NOT patiently waiting to to hear about his leave and his next stop in this adventure of his.

Momof1navyguy I requested to join the group on facebook (Kim).  Would love to meet mothers close and share stories.

Hello all from MO..... It has been awhile since I too have been on and even longer since I have come to this group. It seemed no one was ever on. My son is in P'Cola at A school, been there since 1/18/14 and just started class 2 weeks ago. I am so proud of him!!

Also, if anyone is close to KC even a few hours out then I would like to encourage you to join the Navy Moms of Kansas City on FB. We meet once a month for dinner. Share stories, just support one another. We pick a different area each month so more ppl can come. They started this group In Nov with 6 and last in now we have 38 members. I think we had almost 20 at dinner in March. We have met in Overland Park KS, Independence, and up North by the airport. This month we will driving to Emporia, we are going to car pool to make it easier on everyone and were doing it on a Sat. We would prob go to Columbia too, its only an hour and half away. We usually meet the last week in the month. We announce it on our FB page and get ideas from everyone. Hope to see everyone there. (((HUGS)))

I have been out of the loop too. My son is in Japan as well on the USS Bonhomme Richard. He is having a hard time. I would love to get together. The last one I attended was in Florissant at Hendel's... many moons ago.

Hello MO and Happy Friday to you all!

So nice to see a little activity on here.

ckmom and beachbug - How wonderful your sailors will be coming home!  Give them an extra hug and tell them thank you for their service and let them know how much they are appreciated.  I wish them the best of luck in their future!

You know, we should really have a Meet & Greet soon.  I'm afraid once your sailors are home we'll never hear from you wonderful ladies again.  Any takers on lunch sometime this spring or summer?

leigh - {{{{Hugs}}}} to you.  Yes it's very hard when our kids are so far away - mine's in Japan.  Sorry I'm several hours away from Columbia but come here to vent or cry when you need to.  Have you been able to be in contact with your daughter?  How does she like it?   Africa sounds very exciting to me.  I love it that my son is getting to go to different countries and experience the different cultures.  He will be leaving on his 2nd deployment soon and is soooo ready to go back out to sea!

Take care everyone and have a great weekend!

Hello Missouri.  It has been along time since i have been on.  hope all is doing well and their sailors.  Is there anyone else in the group from columbia?  I could use some support, my seebee is on her first deployment in Africa.  She has been in a year as of last Jan.22.  I am really missing her with her so far away.

Hello Missouri,  Been awhile that I have been on.  This winter needs to end and get on to spring!!  I'm sure everyone agrees with me.        How is every one doing?    How are your sailors, and what phase are they all in right now.  We need to keep this group going.   My son will be getting out soon.  He is still on the USS Bataan and deployed right now.  He will be finished by May.    Will be going to mizzou in the fall.   Can't wait to see him, he has been saving up all his leave time so he could get out sooner otherwise he was supposed to get in the middle of June.

Love to hear from you all, this has been an exciting 4 yrs.

Hi my N4Mom friends, it has been quite awhile since I've checked in. I hope all are well, my sailor is still in, he will detach from Navy officially in Oct, and is moving home. He extended on his last cruise for 2 more, total 6 years. Cannot believe how fast that has gone. Of course painfully slow when they are at sea.

Thought I'd say hey, and let you all know that I continue to keep you and your sailors in my prayers.

Now, can we get on with spring already...this winter has been brutal, enuf already!
