Today, for sh*ts and giggles I dug out my husband and my old boot camp "yearbooks" from the 80s. Oh, the horrors! The glasses! The BC glasses were an improvement on what we had back then. And I had forgotten just how bad I looked with short hair and a tucked-in shirt.

Trust me, you're safe. I will NOT be scanning and posting my photos from "wayback."

Jill,
Your view sounds like it would be absolutely beautiful on a nice summer day!!!!

Jill,
Wow - hope you stay safe in all that also. Yes, people need to relearn, unfortunately some people never learn how to handle it!!!!
Stay warm!!!!

Southern Utah is stunningly beautiful with all the national parks and monuments. Up here isn't so bad either!

I have family on Ohio, in Lancaster. My SIL has cabins and a lodge and a cottage she rents as vacation homes.

I was never a fan of the southeast, just not my thing. However, I think everywhere is the US has worthwhile beauty and history, even if I do prefer the West.

Thanks AntiM!! I used to live in the snow belt of Ohio with the snow coming off Lake Erie!!! I hope to visit Utah some day. It's one of those states on our list of places to go as hubby and I travel around to new job assignments. He'll be finished here in NC in June 2010. Who knows where we go next!!!!

Hey, I'm very proud of that joke, made it up all by my lonesome, LOL.

I am in Utah. Our lake effect snow is off the Great Salt Lake. Jill is by an entirely different lake. Here's hoping you have good weather for your drive!

Not sure where both of you are but I hope snow holds off for a few more days so I can safely drive from NC to northeast Ohio this weekend. I'll be staying with my college daughter for the holidays. Hubby will come up for Christmas eve but has to go back to NC on Sunday for work. :( I'll help Jenn decorate and do some baking!!!

Anti M -
That Jane Doe was TERRIBLE!!! ha ha ha ha ha ha

I'm deciding if I can shovel or not. My shoulder and back have been touchy, and I really want to work on the kitchen tiles. I'm afraid shoveling will do me in for the entire day. I do want a clear walk for the mail gal. It is still coming down!
