I don't know much of what is going on now with my sailor either.  I do know that his training will start soon after a long wait.

Mrs. Z - Thanks for your input. I feel like I don't know as much about what he's doing now as I did when he was in BC or in P'cola.

Someone on FB said that Air Crew rates will be changed again by 2020.

Anyone know anything?

Alysia - congrats...Lynch is there and loves it. Does he have to go to SERE? I think Lynch said AWV do in the air what ATO does on the ground. Son has no idea which squadron he will be with....said it will be months of training first.

TGIF ladies....wearing my RED!!

My son just received his duty station orders and he will be reporting to TINKER at the end of June. He is ATO and will be attached to the VQ-4 squadron.

it depends on their rate and when space opens up in the squadron. After training they may end up with a temp assigned duty to do something like honor guard

Ladies....do you experienced moms/wives/gf know how long they train before being placed with VQ-3 and VQ-4V does it depend on their rate? Mine is AWV.
