Alex, too, is 6 years Aircrew.  I can only IMAGINE the thoughts flooding your son's mind (and yours) when he got the orders while in Pensacola to report to Japan!  Whoah.....and I was disappointed when my son was told he is going to Oklahoma!  Ha.  I feel better now!  I just knew our boys were going to JAX, Florida!  Can you give us "words of wisdom" with SERE coming up?  Did your son go through this?

Thanks for posting!! Both of our sons are in P'cola finishing up A school and they know each other, so I'm glad we can be in contact. Lynch had to enlist for 6 years to get his Aircrew rate. He's very excited about his future.

Oh yeah....2 years in Japan...I guess we'll be looking for some feedback from Ginnlynn once her son gets settled.

Ginnlynn--wow, that was a long time in Japan! I am sure these past few weeks have been wonderful!

Hi ALL.  I am following Suzi over to this site......my son has the very same timeline as her son!  I am learning lots too.  UTube has been a good teacher for me too.  Ha.  Learning about SERE now.  I lived in Tulsa 30+ years ago.....so trying to remember the area!  Matter of fact, 1st child of mine was born in Tulsa!  I remember cold winters and hot summers.  Eager to get to know you and learn about Tinker AFB!

Hello Ladies....pretty quiet group here. I'm use to all the chatter in the Pensacola group.

Anyhow....my son just got his orders today. He will grad A school and then head out for SERE and then to Tinker for the E-6 Mercury. He is AWV. Still learning so much and don't understand why he's the only one in his A school class to get orders and his roomie is the same rate and has already grad A school and has no orders....Learning all the time.
