Good morning all, yes all that medical is normal for BC. One of the reasons my daughter joined, good medical care. She got fired from Starbucks for calling in sick. Her Air Force Uncle said in the military if you say you are sick they send you to medical, check you out then tell you if you can work or not.

I believe birth control is optional. I just asked my sailor daughter and though they strongly suggested it she chose not to.

I believe Yes, or if it's been over 2 months they will get another one. they also get put on birth control as well.

is it routine for girls to get a pap smear while they are in boot camp? even if they have never had one before?

Good morning everyone.

lovey - lots of prayers being sent to you and your family! It's so hard to be far away with little communication.

Your welcome Anna! - I happily recommend her and really can't say enough about how beautiful and well made the products are from LalaRibbonQueen. They're definitely keepsakes!

Hope everyone has a great day - prayers for all of our sailors!

We are half way there!! 4 more weeks of hell and then I can hug and kiss my baby girl. Still no call yet hoping this weekend. Daddy will be home so that would be awesome. We are leaving Wed for a mini Vacation. Taking our other 2 to Louisiana for 5 days. Waterpark, gonna c some gators, go to the riverwalk, and take a boat ride.  We need this time. Its been hell adjusting. It's going to be so different not having our oldest with us. I feel this isn't right. We shouldn't be going on a vacation without her. Well I hope everyone is doing well! Prayers to the ones who kids are sick, not doing well ect

Happy Monday all!!

Anna, I'm not sure yet where in VA she's stationed, she didn't say. I would of preferred San Diego because that's only 4 hrs away. But I'm greatful she's in the states, it makes coming home faster, for me anyways, lol.
