Less than fantastic here. Had to put CryptoGirl on a plane back to Everett WA. 10½  years and its still hard.

We did have a great Christmas. And she got to strut her stuff at her 10yr HS reunion.

Hello! So Enjoyed al the pics and celebrations of sailors home and that CUTE baby!!!! I got to fill my empty nest with my sailor girl and her Marine husband from 12-20 til early this morning!! It has been one of the best visits since she has been in the Navy. She is 5 months pregnant and glowing beautifully!! I was able to get to know my son-in-law a bit more and see what she loves about him! They just left (in my car!) to drive 16 hours to see his family.

I also have an older son who attends college 4 hours away, who was able to come home for part of this time as well.He left to go back to his college town to attend church where he rings handbells and sings with a couple different choirs. So proud of him!

Merry Christmas to everyone! Prayers for safety for all our military deployed at this time and safe travels for those visiting family and friends!

Happy New Year!!

Thanks. Yes, that's mom.

CryptoGirl is in uniform again this evening, just heading out for her 10 year high school reunion.

Tomorrow she heads back to her ship. :Þ

Sorry CryptoDad, I missed commenting on the beautiful picture of your daughter!!!  Is that your wife standing with her???  So happy you were able to have her home!!!

Jappyj,

Sounds like some good times!!!!  So happy you had your daughter for the holidays.

Jean,

Beautiful pictures!!!  Thank you for sharing!!!

Catsmom,

I understand missing our kiddos!!!  Sorry she wasn't able to come home.  Maybe some time soon????

Our Christmas was nice.  Jenn and David got Nerf bows and arrows so they were running around outside shooting!!!!  It was funny!!  I spent the day in my Christmas nightgown - my tradition from way back when all the kids were little!!!  My way of saying "I'm taking the whole day off!!!"  Now all the kids have kept the tradition and even David wore his pj's all day!!!!  His parents even sent him and Jenn new pj's just in honor of my tradition!!!!!  Chris was able to call his wife and daughter on Christmas day!!!  They were so happy!!!  Later in the day he posted a video message from the USS Ft McHenry, LSD 43!!  It made me cry!!!  But it was good to see and hear him!!!!

Hope everyone else had a wonderful holiday celebration - whatever your traditions are!!!!!!
