Cute picture.
I finally gotmy MRI today. I call them today they had room for me today. Yea!!!!!
Hello everyone, I don't post much, but read often! I enjoy reading about everyone's adventures and life journeys. It really helps to know you girls are here! I know someone mentioned birthdays a few days ago. Today is my sweet nuke girl's 20th birthday. I miss her a lot! Last year she celebrated her birthday at RTC, so this was better--at least I got to talk to her, and send her a box filled with good stuff! She is feeling kind of stressed right now. She has a big test tomorrow for Power School, and then a final in another Power School class on Thursday, that she is really worried about. Nuke school has its challenges! Hopefully she will do just fine, but a few prayers sent Heavenward wouldn't hurt!
So sorry to hear about you girls with the "uninvolved" dads. (Trying to be nice.) That is a tough row to hoe.
Oh, and that is her nuke sailor brother and best friend in the picture (in case you wondered.) It is awesome that they are together, at least for the moment.
jappyj,
Mark these past couple pages or copy and paste them. Then sometime when you get a chance to bring up the subject you can show her these posts and let her know that first of all - she isn't the only one to go through this, and second - that it happens to other women and she can be open to accepting that it is the same with her. It can take you completely out of the equation!!! I wish her all the best and pray for her peace and strength!!!
Andrea,
Welcome back!!! Glad you had a nice trip. Loved your pictures!!!!
Jean,
My hubby counts down his Monday's now. After today he has 4 more!!!!!
Finally got home last week, still not sure if I'm coming or going...hoping to go back and catch up on the past month or so of posts...may take a couple days!! :-) Just wanted to check in and say "hey"
Hope ya all have a great Monday!
I wanted to thank everyone for their support with the issue of my daughter and her dad. I am hoping one day she realizes what he does to her but for some reason I am always the one who gets blamed. One day my kids will wake up and smell the roses. I not their life will be a constant dissappointment
Good Morning to Everyone.
Happy Monday. I know no one likes Monday's. But just think your a wake and already started it so it is almost done.
spyder,
Fantastic!!! Will let you know our timetable!!!!!
splash,
I'm so sorry for your daughter and jappyj's daughter. They have to get to a point where they refuse to let their Dad's hurt them anymore!!! Trust me, it took me long into adulthood and years of counseling before I was finally able to get past it. My sister also has scars
Spyder,
If our plans pan out like we think we will be spending a few days there. There is a campground in Gila Bend we're planning on staying at. Was thinking we could meet up with you!!!!!!
