Good Morning to everyone.
Blondie, I like the dogs name. It fits. Have a safe trip.
Anna, glad you are home.
Catsmom, good luck on the job. Hope you get it.
Hello Jean and everyone!!! Happy Monday!! If there is such a thing!!
Made it back home safe and sound last night!!! Always hard to say goodby to the kids but vacation had to end!! Now I have to finish cleaning the apartment and clearing some stuff out by Wednesday. That's our final walk through and turn in of keys and such. Already I found something that I was supposed to pack and missed!!!! Damn!!!
Hope everyone has a great week ahead!!
Good Morning everyone.
Happy Friday Everyone!!! I see lots going on!!!
Welcome Ampingitup!! I sent you a welcome message on your page. Hang in there Momma, we're here for you!! It will be a rough day for sure. You may find it possible to stay strong until she leaves, then feel free to bawl your head off!!!It's totally acceptable!! Check in with us and let us know how it went for you and your girl.
Brittanysmom,
So just a warning for you - you may receive a letter or two, or a phone call, when your daughter just tells you everything is going wrong. She will question her decision, she will wonder if she made a mistake or feel like she can't handle it. You will worry, fret, get concerned, and then not hear anything for a week or more. By then, you are a basket case - because you don't know what's happening. But then you get the next letter and everything is fine!!! As the division starts to gel and they get the hang of working together as a team, it seems they get a whole new confidence and belief in themselves. Always encourage and support her. Try not to worry - I say try because it's next to impossible!!! Remember, sometimes they will be down and they only have us to vent to. We have to be their sounding boards, their safety net.
Ampingitup,
This will apply to you also!! Just know both of you can always come here for support from us!!
Catsmom,
How did the interview go?? Did they give you any inkling of when they will make the decision??? Keeping your girl in my prayers still. That scumbag just doesn't want to give up does he???
Elanasmom,
I'm glad they found her stuff and got her reassigned. Nothing was missing was it??? Will keep her in our prayers for a safe and speedy deployment. Fair Winds and Following Seas for her!!!
spyder,
Hope you have a great weekend also.
Blondie,
For a black dog I'm thinking Midnight or Night Fury!!! Let us know what you decide on!!
My vacation is almost over. Had lunch at the Penn State Creamery. Yes, we all had milk shakes for lunch!!!!! But I'm fixing a nice, healthy dinner so that should make up for it. Tomorrow we'll leave around noon or so and drive half way, then home the rest of the way Sunday. It sure was nice spending time with the kiddos!!!!
