Just catching up to all this Julie, sorry that all this is happening. But sounds like things are working out.

Great job Angie, you have always been a life saver,

Pete, Thank you for your service, I personally can't thank you enough for all your information, not only on the board here but taking time to personal message me.

I hope you continue to check in from time to time.

I wish you nothing but the best in your future. Keep doing whatever you can to stay strong. Enjoy your new freedom and make the most of it.

Thanks again.

Angie, is all this medical discharge stuff strictly for Navy or is it pretty much across the board Military? I was mainly wondering about Marines?

Security clearance entirely depends on their specific job. Most jobs only require the basic "classified" clearance. They only do higher clearances if they will be handing sensitive information.

Hi Julie,

From what I understand..Cory will and should receive a monthly check/compensation forever from the Navy. If the hearing loss is due to being a GM/Gunners Mate. Make sure you follow up with the appropriate sources. Best of luck.

Aw Julie, I suppose it is bitter sweet, but i'm sure it will all work out for Cory.

I wish him the best of luck in his new future.

I just got back from seeing Tara for the long weekend, which turned out to be 6 days. :) We had a great time. Then her and Mike were off to Las Vegas to attend the Marine Ball and fun. She is on pins and needles waiting on new orders. I hope she gets somewhere that she enjoys. Her PTS was approved so she will be able to reenlist in July/Aug. Which she is wanting to do.

Haven't been on here as much lately, so welcome to any new comers. I scanned through the post and it sounds like everyone is doing pretty good.

Angie, nice to see you, hope all is good with you.

Best wishes to Cory!
