Sarosa does Stephen like Sicily? How he's getting along with the people? Have him go to the Flower shop in NAS I and ask for Salvo Barresi, he's my brother enlaw...my sister's husband. Tell Stephen to mention about doing BC with Jonathan. Salvo is a very nice guy .

Hello everyone. My name is Graziella, and I'm from Sicily originally. I met my husband in Catania when he was station there....well lol that was long time ago. My family still lives there and I have very close contact with them daily. Please allow me to help or translate any imformation about the Island or the people. Sicily is such beautiful Island. I'm a Navy Mom, and my son's choice was the west coast because he's already seeing most of Europe from hi's mom's side of the family lol. I miss him terribly. Buona giornata a tutti...(have a good day)

Hi Barb, my son is in Naples, Italy, all I know is that he should of bought an alarm clock and a shower curtain with him, he did bring his own towels. Food allowance is $300 a month and they get that in the first paycheck of the month. We talk on skype with is a god sent because we get to see him and talk with him.

Sheila thanks for the information. I did find a site for Naples there are 3 of us.lol But the one mom, her son has been there two weeks before my son so it helps a little.

Hi Sheila, thanks for the information, yes we are all hooked up with Skype, what does your son do about eating? In Naples they have two cafe's and a subway, he is going to gain a lot of weight and just lost 25lbs. Do you know how much they get for food allowance? He had missed his flight due to a flight coming in late so he was in the airport Friday until Sat., night and now his luggage is lost. Oh Boy! I feel really bad for him, I just want to hugged him.lol

Hi Karen, 2 years that is a long time, Stephen has only been gone for 2 days and I really miss him, how do you do it, tell me your secret.lol

Glad you ladies are here.

Hi Sheila, how long was your son in for? My son is in from P-Cola for 3 weeks and then he is on his way to Naples, Italy, can't even think about it. How long has your son been in the Navy? Thank him for serving and God Bless him.

Lucie, it sounds like he really liked hockey, me son did also. I also loved watching him play, it was our lives for many year, as you know it takes up a lot of time and my son also played in the spring leaque so he played all year round. God Bless your sailor and hope things are well with you.

Sheila or Justines mom... James also only knows people by there last name :) the reason I havent seen him in so long.. he was to be home in Oct 08 Bahrain pushed it back and said he may have to wait till he gets to Sig...Then in Dec 08 Bahrain said he would be home for xmas( back in the states 23rd and home 24th) had flights and everything even sent home packages so he wouldnt have to carry so much.. just a few days before the departure day 24th Bahrain told him Sig called and said since he was to be there in Nov. and the plane stopped in Sig before coming to Sig they said he had to get off the plane when it got in Sig. They were short handed and needed him. he arrived in Sig 7:00 A.M. 23rd and was on duty that afternoon, unarmed.
