OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Cookbook status

Please note:  In 2012, Linda, this group's creator, did a heroic effort and created a cookbook of our recipes that was sold to members as a fund raiser for Molly's Adopt a Sailor Project.  That cookbook is no longer available.   If anyone would like to volunteer to start another cookbook-publishing project, that would be great!

I always freeze my baked goods, then mail them priority. that should be fine. And try to make sure they arrive by Thursday. once I mailed lemon cheese bars, the PO window wasnt open on Friday, it was a holiday weekend, so my son didn't get them until tuesday. He said they were fine and still ate them.

Linda, I haven't been able to complete my recipe. How do I go about in making changes? My recipe was there to start out with and I tried to resubmit again only to find out that the recipe was there and was only adding on to the first one. I am unable to delete it or start over or do anything for that matter.
