If you don't have POA, then there's nothing you can do.  That's an even better reason why there can not be any court action during deployment.  Your attorney can't do anything, I wouldn't think.  Her attorney is playing games and running up a bill.

Ok have a question and Unneeded an answer asap, my son is deployed presently and has sort if put his divorce "on hold" , while out, we still have attorney and got court ordered visitation in place for his dad and I in his stead while deployed, this is my question. I got a letter today from opposing counsel dated May 5, just got it today stating they want his w2 les for the year. His chief is telling him not to supply it as the earnings are far more than his normal pay, the letter stated if they dont get it by 14th they are going a motion to request the judge order it in a hearing andd that they will rrquest my son have to pay for all court costs for both sides.I explained today to the paralegal that the extra pay he is receiving during deployment is more than regular pay and that needed to be noted. I also told her I didn't have access to his les and I didn't know if I could attain that by Monday or not. Any and all suggestions appreciated, please email me at countrywoods@hotmail.com, really don't know what to do, not impressed with our attorney at all!

Not only did we have a great visit with my sailor son, we got to meet what his youngest daughter, age 7, calls her "new best friend," his girlfriend.  She even told her mom when we got back that!  The girls and I loved her--good thing cause as he was leaving for deployment, he gave her a ring, so now it's fiancee.

Hang in there, moms!  Time helps and miracles do happen!  My ex-dil is letting me pull the girls out of school the end of the month to fly with them to Norfolk to see their dad before he deploys again.  We'd planned to drive out this summer with them until he got surprise orders to the "Stan."

I can relate!  I felt like I got the divorce since I was POA for everything.
