Almost done with my blocks, made 8 and will send 6 of them (2 extra just in case they are needed for something or as a souvinere (sp). Just as a heads up, I made a pillow case to go with the quilt that I will be sending. It is Navy, thought it would look at least cleaner than white, as well as some the the other fabric. Don't know if maybe our embroidier mom would put the Courage, Honor, Committment logo on it and add from the Sailor quilt guild. Just a thought.
At some point we will need addresses for Netta so she can piece things together.

Were is everyone? Are they off sewing? Ok so I will get busy and start cutting, since my daughter is here using the machinge to work on a baby quilt for a gift..

Ok I went and found the fabric. The red pirate fabric must be popular, because there was only one yard left on the bolt.

Netta...You grandson is to cute!!! Just want to pinch those checks!

I think they are going to Netta's, before they are going on to be quilted.
pmbarman - the quilt is a gift for my cousin. At this point she doesn't even know that I have finished it. I dropped the quilt off today at the quilters. It will be ready on June 1st. so excited!!

I swear this is the last question. Where are we mailing our finished squares too?

I have never done it, but I am thinking of submitting it to our local county fair this year.

Quilt lady, yes I am interested in going to a retreat. Would we be able to do this on a weekend? I work for a school district so it would need to be during the summer or on a weekend. This would be so fun.

Well ladies, my quilt top is done and now going off to the quilters today. A lot of work but I think it turned out nicely.
