That would make only 12 irish chain block, 4 flags, 12 solid blocks, 1 large block, 12 winning hand blocks,

Netta can you rework it like this move the 3 winning hands to the 4 corners and put the 4 flag blocks in 4th corner of those blocks. Make sense?
Comment by JM-ISmomx2 on April 28, 2010 at 1:42pm
yes that's the one
Comment by JM-ISmomx2 on April 28, 2010 at 1:34pm
Yes but with the dark blocks?
Comment by JM-ISmomx2 on April 28, 2010 at 1:32pm
Sorry took too long to type. I like the other one with less detail.

We do need to stay with the dark blocks I think. A few quilts back, can you show us something like that?
Comment by JM-ISmomx2 on April 28, 2010 at 1:28pm
Ok that's it I like this last one but I'm worried that we won't have enough ladies to do the more complicated blocks. The solids are no brainers but we need to know who is willing to work on some of the irish chains.
So far this is what I have : I will do the 12 winning hand blocks
Eaglesmom is going to do the large 4 block size center block.
I know that some other girls have offered too but I would need to go back to check on that.
We have had an offer to do the quilting also.
I sent Gloria a note asking for her opinion of the one we were thinking of using. Also for the personal information we need to personalize it.

Ok too many options, even though that one is gorgeous too, I think we have found our pattern if Gloria likes the one with the large star in the center.

Wow Netta that is great!!! I guess it just depends on weither Eagles mom wants to do 1 large or 4 smaller square in the center block. Which do you like the best Netta, Eagles mom, paymaster and our other wonderful quilt ladies?

I like the alternating yellow/red quilt design best. And I really like the quilt square that Eagle Mom just posted, it would look very nice in the center of the triple sets of winning hands. As soon as I get home I will post the information on the fabric I have. And the Mom we are doing this for is Gloria- Corpsmanmom
