Just let me know which squares you want me to do. I can do 4.

Yes, its pretty bad when we get excited about an iron.

My daughter came over last night to help me re-fold all the fabric I purchased and put it away. It only took about an hour and half. I didn't buy much.

So is the finished square size going to be 9 inches or 9 1/2 to raw edges? And I did pick the flag with the aged background because I thought it would stay cleaner, that's why I didn't go with white.

Thank you for the input Quiltlady, truth is my mind doesn't always think that way, sad to have to prepare for a possible theft.

Well I have this cute baby sailor fabric in yellow and light blue that I planned on using for my own sailors quilt but I thought that the fabric would be playful yet appropriate for a guy. What do you think, will your fabric mesh with this. I could do the other 12 ( yikes) blocks. Or 8 if someone else would rather do some winning hands blocks.

Here is the fabric. It is red, blue patriotic, the sailor fabric is actually pirate but looked good together.

Netta that looks great. I can take care of 6-8 or the winning hand squares. That would work for me since I have a 3 fabric blend. When we talked about the quilt size I think a narrow full or a wide twin was recommended. The material I have I will try to take a picture of and post. Looked cute when I picked it up, thought a guy would like it. I don't mind piecing it together if someone would quilt it. I think PMbarmom said she would be willing.

I originally suggest a winning hand or irish chain, or there is alway a 9 block we could do up. I have the fabric already just need the pattern to start. I was planning on doing 6 to 8 blocks, more if needed. Just let me know.

QuiltLady....Went shopping mostly in Portland. Hit Mills End and Fabric Depot for the two major stores, then hit about 8 quilt stores.

I purchased a new Baby Lock with auto threading :) Life is good.

Netta....Just let us know when you post the block pattern so we can start, also let us know how many squares you need us to make each.

Just back in town. Went up to Portland Oregan. Spent $$$ at all the fabric stores. Did my part for the Ecom. Purchased a new serger.

Am broke, but have plenty of new material to work on projects.

I even found some red, white and blue material.

When do we start our quilt project for the sailor on the ship? I am all ready to go!

Hi Ladies - I have been quite too. Just finished the last block of 120 around midnight last night. Now I just have to put it all together. Hoping to get it to the long - armed quilter by the end of this week.
