Finally saw my son on his ship. This was posted on the ships website. He's the one on the far right wearing a yellow shirt and baseball cap.

Only a mother could pick her child out of a small picture like this. My husband didn't believe me that it was our son, so he had to enlarge the picture to prove me wrong, needless to say he was wrong and it is our son.

Hi Ladies, had a chance to meet up with Mema and not only have a delicious lunch but we were able to go to a local quilt shop. Had a terrific time, met a wonderful fellow Navy mom and quilter. She was so much fun to be with and was nice enough to welcome my Mom too. I will post picture when I'm able.
Mema, I enjoyed myself tremendously and would love to do it again next time I'm in town. JM

I will be in Mesa first, that's where my Mom lives, so you will be real close. Lunch? And then we will be in Peoria by weeks end. Haven't looked up many quilt shops yet but I plan on looking when I get there.

I see you're humming again EM. Off to AZ tomorrow. Hope to visit some quilt shops while I'm there. Need to find some backing material for the quilts in progress. I'm worried about my sons navy quilt, looks too busy, but don't plan on changing it. Will wait on the final outcome to decide.

QL....I had a lady in my quilt do that for her family. I am interested to hear which one she made for you. Hope you can post a picture of it?

Please wish your mom and parent a best wishes from me!

Sure wish I was redoing my bathroom. Oh the plans I've made, even have a room to extend it into. Ahh, the luxury of a soaking tub is what appeals to me. Our bathroom is smaller then the kids.

AM...Been there, done that twice. Lots of luck with the bathroom.
