Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Good idea just make sure you wash all your fabric before hand otherwise it will bunch after it is washed.

Sure Darsete I have a set you can have. Aubree wasn't too sure about the cutsie sailor print but has grown to like it. It 's at the quilters now. I figured we will be up at Jim's at 10 or so.Hope that works for you. Let me know because we are flexible.

Quilt Lady- the quilt that won the award took about a year and 1/2 of off and on work. Probably the most difficult one I have ever taken on. My daughters sailor quilt took about 2 months or so.

I am glad to see other quilts taking pride in their work and sharing it with others. My sister and I have a quilting business to help supply baby quilts for a local pregnancy help center. So I am excited to become part of Moms who quilt

Kamile the pattern is from a Mystery quilt by Debbie Caffery one of my favorite designers.

JM....Great quilt. I saw that material the last time I was at Joann's. Looked at it and thought naw I wouldn't have anything to make with it. But now i look at yours and think ya, I could use it.

I also added the patches for the different events- RTC GL, Navy, schooling and 1st station. She will add additional ones as she goes.

Thank you Kamile, I have been quilting since 2005 and the blocks are pieced on the diagonal line, 18 main blocks plus the setting triangles. I used the corners to add information like PIR date, Rate, A & C school grad dates and her 1st duty station.
