You need your ID and your husband's social security number to see a dr. They'll ask you for both over the phone when you call to make an appt so make sure you know his SSN too.

Your welcome! I definitely know how hard it can be to be so patient! =]

Yes because ur military is ur insurance card and until you get that u have nothing for ur doctors office and what not! If you have any other questions let me know I know exactly how u feel cuz I was there lol.

@Olivia, I will see if I can get it this week then. Even tho I can. I can't get my ID until later next week tho cause of Christmas. ha
That help a lot. So I actually just need to patiently wait for the paper to come in so I can be enrolled.
So I have a related question about that.
Is that mean I can go see the doctor right away after I get my ID since I will be under Tricare already?

For getting paid. I guess I just need to see what my husband set up for. We probably won't see it until Jan 1 then. :)

Your papers should come about the 2nd week. That's when I got mine. You have to go get ur military Id to actually be enrolled after u get ur paperwork. Also when did he leave? That depends on when u get paid. For example my husband left on the 20th of November and he didn't get paid until the 14th they get paid the 1st and the 15th but if that falls on a weekend they get paid the day before. They set up a bank account when they get there but if they already have one then it will be direct deposited I hope this helps!

Anyone can answer my questions?
My husband is in Boot right now. I called DEERS and they said I am in the system already under my husband's name.
But when's the form gonna come?
And what else do I need to know as a new Navy Wife here?

I also wanna know about getting paid.
Is that possible to change the bank? Like changing to the other bank?
How long does it takes? Is it gonna delay anything?

Hey ladies - I'm running into a few medical problems that are starting to get a little worrisome... when do we usually receive our DEER forms and such? I can't afford to go to the doctors without insurance.
