Hello all! I just got over PIR and everything and my hubby is in San Antonio for A-school. Now that we can talk everyday, its just kind of weird. Im in a weird space right now. I didnt feel like he was as "overjoyed" to see me as I was him. He has assured me that he was excited, but it was just kind of hard to express it, but he thinks about me and the kids constantly. He will be home for Christmas, but I just get so heartbroken when he leaves and I dont wanna go through it again...Ugh! Being home all day with no job and 2 years old makes it worse. How do I get out of this funK?

KLP- you'll get a form in the mail here soon that you will have to take to a military base and have it made.. I got mine a few weeks after my husband was in bootcamp. The form for insurance will also be in the same letter.

This site has really helped but boot camp does SUCK. Today marks 2 weeks and the only communication I have had is the 3 lines at the bottom of the form letter. I've been writing letters but it's like writing to a ghost because I haven't heard from him so I have a million questions and no info from him! When the mail lady drops off my mail, it is such a let down because I get so hopeful... and then nothing.

Another thing rely on other moms and wifes on this site they help keep you sane or they did me atleast. i found a small cafe job a few hours a week to pass the time. just stay strong and go to walmart and print pictures they love getting mail and pictures.

Bootcamp does suck! But like the others have said, write him as many letters as you can, keep as busy as you can. Before you know it it will be PIR time. PIR is an awesome experience for you and him both. It is definetly worth the wait to see him again.
