Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My name is Amanda. My husband James just joined the Navy. He is in C-School right now. I cannot wait until graduation. We are in California where we will probably be for a while now. I am just getting started with the life. I am trying to get a head start and to learn as much as possible. I am so proud of him, but I am super scared at the same time. Thanks so much for making this page!  My boyfriend is now in bootcamp and we plan on getting married sometime before he begins active duty.  He is a Nuke so we still have a little time to plan.  I'm hoping we can have a real wedding and not a courthouse one, but it's so hard to plan with the Military Schedule!

thank you for the invitation...my guy is only in his second week at boot so we are just beginning.  we are planning to get married in the next year but with Aircrew as his rating A school may make it difficult to plan. if so it looks like courthouse bound we'll be!

Yes, you're close by, your son is cute in his sailor suit. I grew up in the Air Force 20 years all over the country. My son have been in the Navy for 15 years, now stationed in Sasebo, Japan.
