WOW...talk about chaos then eh???? I hope that all goes well with your husband's plans to re-enlist. I bet that the 4th of July is going to be a special weekend! Will he have the same rate as he did in the reserves or will he be doing something different? Do you already know where he will be sent? Congrats to you guys!
We lived on the North Shore. Things are really interesting for us right now - he's been home since December but has only had short term orders because he's Reserve. However......he's just been accepted to convert to Active Duty so we will be moving soon. First he has to re-enlist, which he is setting up to do during the Virginia City 4th of July parade! :)
How cool Ski-Nanny...did you live in North Shore or South Shore? We lived out in Meyers, so we always got the MOST snow! LOL Now that we live here in Reno, we live close to Verdi, so when it snows, we get more snow than most who live in Reno. I mostly miss the trees.
How are things for you and your husband? I noticed that he is an IA...wow, that's gotta be difficult. When is his next visit home??? I sure hope it's soon for you. I have a friend at work whose son is in the Army and he is in Afghanistan right now. His wife has two very young children at home. It's been a difficult deployment, but he gets to come home in September I think. Do you have any children? My heart goes out to you and if there is anything you need, just holler :)
That's funny - I lived in Tahoe for 7 years - up until 2 years ago. :)
Sierrascrapper - check out Michaels for some sea related items this week - the store down near the convention center has cute little sayings like "ahoy" and "anchors away!"
