Good afternoon NH Ladies.  I officially have my UNITED STATES SAILOR!  Yay.  She sounds great, but exhausted.  They made it through Battlestations almost 2hrs early and came out #1 of 4 divisions.  Said it was not too difficult.  The hardest thing was staying awake.  She says the Capping Ceremony got her very emotional when the National Anthem was played, she teared up.  At that moment is when she felt the "pride"  I am so proud of my daughter an all she has accomplished.  We are so looking forward to being together next week.  Thank you all for your support. It really does mean the world to me and my navygal88!

I lit our blue candle for lil and wish her all the best in battlestations.  Our daughter is on her 2nd day of BC after a long first day begun with swearing in (see pix) and travel. We received the "call" near midnight, very scripted and short, that I had to listen through the fax machine beeps that engaged by mistake!  She sounded like she was running on adrenaline!  Thanks Arla for the heads up on the "ups and downs" of BC.   I'll look forward to the letters in a few weeks.

BATTLESTATIONS tonight for my daughter! Or as you all remember her as Navygal88.  Cannot believe the time has come.  She had done great, we are soooo proud.  So if you can, please light your Blue Candle and say a prayer for my SR, because tomorrow I will have a United States SAILOR!  WooHoo!
