The lunch was great this past weekend!  So wonderful to connect with other Jersey Navy Moms - and two from Long Island!  It was nice to hear about your son in Hawaii, Lynda - it all sounds wonderful!

Thanks for organizing, Jersey Peach!

I will SHARE! Also, this may be the "Mother Ship" but I've never been comfortable posting private thoughts and concerns  here, because the site is openly accessable to anyone, including Navy personnel.  I belong to a private group not associated with Facebook or N4Ms, where I can go and vent, cry, bitch and boast without fear or judgement.  Anyone who is interested in that group can drop me a message. Hugs, Beth

Thanks!  That was the same feeling I had once I joined both groups.  If you know of anyone else that is a Jersey mom please let them know.  Of course I do not want to take away from the "mother" ship here, just make life a bit more convienent for us all.

Peggy, I sent you a friend request and a request to join the group. I'd love to find some 'more' South Jersey Moms! And I think more people are using Facebook now than this site.

Hey all....I have started a group on Facebook for New Jersey families.  I know more people probably follow Facebook than checking a seperate board.  Please feel free to join the group and add me as a friend. :) http://www.facebook.com/groups/545704645450337/

Hello Cybermom I am 4 blocks away from Clifton - I remember book camp - are you going to graduation?  NUKE is a great job to have there is so much he can do when  he comes out - my son works with weapons and jobs out here would be so hard to come by with that kind of training - with NUKE's he can work for any electric company & they will be happy to have him
