Hi NJ Mom, I'm your neighbor, we live in Clifton! My husband was born in Passaic and his family lived there till moving to Garfield.  My son is at Boot Camp, PIR 3/9, then nuke school.  9 years, wow!  Good for him, and you!

Got home from work yesterday and the letter was in my mail box, I was thinking April 5, but I have to wait for the letter to confirm it, SHIP 14 DIV 142. Can't wait to see my son, he wrote something short, is hard work but I'm ok mom, see you soon. Now to plan the trip over there, we'll be driving to Great Lakes from New Jersey, could anyone give us some advised and tips for the trip, we're used to road trips and my DH is a commercial driver.

Hey yall.....I live in Rochelle Park.  My son is just starting the process; he has not graduated high school yet. However, I am excited just the same.  I am very proud of his decision.  I am new to New Jersey and would love to meet other moms.

For us they're still little boys. My son left me a valentine card with his sisters, so sweet but can tell him that, he would say men are not sweet:)
