Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Maria - it was such a pleasure to meet you - and just as I'm coming in the door, you're heading to Fla.  I enjoyed seeing pics of your sailor, and appreciated your kindness toward my 'moments' - do we call them pre-BC jitters??  God speed, hope you love those southern sunsets! Sorry ladies I have been swamped with school and helping in the BUDs classes that I totally missed the posts about the gathering. I wish i had not missed it or I would of made other arrangements this weekend.

Oh good shell be fine when she gets done with therapy .. I wonder how close is that therapy place from my new home ... I work at Kessler as an administrator and I'll be looking for work in Florida..you said Mom is in Sarasota that's not far frm Port Charlotte

Hello everyone! My name is Karen. I've been watching the posts for a while and love what I have been reading. Would love to make the luncheon but will be moving my younger son into High Point University NC that weekend. My older son is a Corpsman in the Navy and will finish A school in SA 8/21. he will come home for like 5 says then be off to NC to train with the Marines. I live in Middlesex County and hope to make the next gathering. But until then I would love to be more active on this site!
