Hi. I was so happy to see a New Jersey group. There are not too many of us out there. My son left for boot camp on July 16th and is on ship 14 div 289. Still have not heard from him yet but hopefully soon. Are there any other family members of recruits out there who are in South Jersey? If so I would love to hear from you! I have only met one so far and hoping to meet others.
Hi Lynda, wow my next door neighboor in Fla is there this weekend and she said its about 30 minutes from Us how weird OH My whe you go see your Mom we have to get together. Im going there in July next week for my Bday then back here again. I was thinking like Sun Aug.19th or maybe weekend ending of the 25th or 26 I have to check any of these good days
Happy 4th Of July!!

Hi everyone its being over a month I checked in, alot going on on my end and my poor son still is badly injured with no better results. Thank God at least I was able to spend my Mothers Day with him 3 days on the weekend and God Blessed us with beautiful weather in Virginia and a safe trip there and back. Monica how is your son doing how is his wrist and how did the OT worked out for him, also did he ever get his personal items from Cuba.
Wow another one of our kids injured 2 in the service I hope all goes well for your daughter is she here in the states are they sending her for surgery in Virginia, keep me posted I wish her the best.
Seeing my son was the best Mothers Day I could have had but seeing a once very strong young man who used to run 5 miles a day for pleasure and bike ride long distances and seeing him now how helpless he is with his back injury walks with the help of a cane and all the painful treatments he has gone through it BREAKS MY HEART now they are sending him to a neurologist. Its being 9 months of hell for not just my son but for us his Family
