I am interested in attending/helping to organize... I am not that far though from Trenton/Ewing... I'm here in Westampton (lumberton/mt. holly) area. These sites have been a wonderful support system. I am STILL waiting for my daughters form letter to arrive.. sigh. She left on the 24th, and I haven't heard from her at all.... :(
Welcome ladies. We all know too well that no one understands how hard this was on us. N4Ms is a great place to be to help get through BC and and so much more.
From right outside Atlantic City, about 10 minutes out. If there is a gathering anywhere in Jersey, I'm in. Not many people around me understand the emotion of my daughter leaving for BC on April 1st.
We are from New Milford, NJ in Northern Bergen County. My son is leaving for the hotel on Monday, Feb 13 and being sworn in on Feb 14th and leaving for the Great Lakes. He will then go to Charleston for Nuke training. Is there anyone close to New Milford? Any gatherings up in this area?
Thanks soooo much for the "freezing up" info Yayyy it worked for me. Thank you to all that welcomed me. My time is flying by my son is leaving in 8 days for the hotel and 9 to leave for GL.
Trying to find something for just us to do spend some quality time together.
Hi Ladies, anyone having trouble with this web site "freezing up"? One of the other mothers on another site looked into it & found out on the very bottom right side there is a wheel with a green/red dot next to it. This is the chatting section. Click on the wheel & there will be a rectangle shape appear just above. Click on the rectangle shape until the dot changes to the red color. Walla!!! No more freezing up!!!!
Welcome DJ'smom.
Sounds like a party !!!!!
Welcome Robin, Liz and Nita.
Robin and Liz, You have come to the right place. I dont think I would of survived Bootcamp without all the wonderful support and information I got from N4Ms. I am also from South Jersey, hence the name. lol Berlin area.
I have two sons enlisted, the oldest is a seabee stationed in Cali right now. He just reenlisted for another 6 years. My younger son is undes airman stationed in Virginia Beach. He is getting ready for a very long deployment at sea.
LOL Dawn!
