Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Happy Mothers Day to All NJ Navy Moms Enjoy your Day as Best as You all Can and Wishing that you have communications with your Sailors on Sunday .Happy for you  Marianne on receiving news and flowers from your Son. I just finished talking to my son right now He sent Me and My Mom Dog Tags and had me open it while we were on the phone especially made with Our Names on it the date 5/8/11 Engraved Happy Mothers Day To My Navy Mom (my Moms had Navy Abuela means Grandmother in Spanish )Love from your Son.Talking about Crying Like A Baby he said that he just wants Us to know that he always thinks of Us and Loves Us very Much. I have a Wonderful Son Im so Very Proud of Him God Bless Him and Always Keep Him Safe. My Gift for all of you on Mothers Day is Prayers for All Our Sailors for their Safety and To Come Home Soon for those that are Deploy We Need Them Home Safe in Our Arms Like when they were Babies and we held them so tight and always Protected them from harmsway.God Bless,Love Maria Navy25

Okay ladies, I'm burning my blue candle I got at our lunch date, hoping and praying that my husband makes it through BS tonight!  Tomorrow hopefully I'll be officially a navy wife!

I'm Nell...not really new here, have lurked on NJ moms for quite some time, but have felt a need to keep a low profile. 9/11 is THE reason my son is Navy. Now there is some justice for the many who were lost that day and since...God bless our military and their families, and God bless our US Navy SEALS.

I Texted my son right away too he said he heard Navy Seals also GO NAVY!!!! Ive always been soooo proud of MY USA and I knew We would Get Him what a glorious Day this September 11, 2011 will be for all of Us especially for the families of those that passed at the Twin Towers I want to see if I can Go. I knew 2 young Men Police officers who were killed that day saving others-JUSTICE HAS BEEN DONE GO USA GOD BLESS AMERICA
