For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Aw thank you Lynda, but I think we are ALL very special ladies!
I bought the outfit off of amazon.com, I had gotten one from the NEX which I've since returned because it was blue and it was the wrong size. When my husband found out I had bought blue he wrote, "You could never be in the Navy because you don't follow orders." You see, he had specifically instructed me to get him a white outfit but I thought it would be too cold for May 6. But I'm going to get Josh a long sleeved white shirt and maybe some white stockings. (I know I know, but maybe my husband won't notice the stockings.)
Hi Judy, Thank you soooo much Yes is a bit nerve racking but Im trying to keep very busy so I dont think about it as much,Thank God at my job Im always busy is just the quiet times when I cant sleep like now I have to be up for work by 5:30 and Oops still up, I have to get some sleep.My prayers are with you as well and Im glad you liked the blue candle. I forgot to tell you all that the scent of the candle is called OCEAN BREEZE
