Wow Donna, I can't even imagine having someone in Afghanistan.  Thank god for Skype, right?   My brother in law was in Iraq, he got back last year after a year deployment, he's air force though.  My sister-in-law skyped with him all the time, but it was still really hard on the family.

I hope he gets leave in the summer!

About 45 minutes.  It's north and west of Union, all highway.  Let me know if you want to meet somewhere, you can PM me.  And my treat.

How far is Jefferson NJ from Union?  I would love to go.

So its funny how the mind works, I was sitting in my car, reading my book outside my house today, waiting for my son to wake up from his little nap he was taking in his car seat. Suddenly, out of the corner of m eye, I see this dark skinned man walking down the walkway towards me! I swear my heart skipped a beat thinking it was my husband! How absurd, I KNOW he's in Chicago getting his A** kicked by his RDC...

Judy, you are amazing, thank you so much!  The book is ordered, I really do appreciate it.

Please let me know if you need anything.  I believe the first paycheck takes out for uniforms.  Honestly, please message me and we can work it out.

Yeah I checked the library, its not there, but I did get some great fiction books about navy relationships.  I'm reading the "The Ocean between us" right now.  Thank you Judy.  And I'm waiting for my husband's first paycheck to come in, until then there is no ordering anything off of amazon, no matter how cheap it is!  As it is, I had to borrow from my inlaws =(
