Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

lynda..my oldest was given a choice for his next 2 years. it was Hawaii or Virginia. for me it is a no brainer, but for him he misses home so he chose Virginia. 4 hour drive and he will be here. he said he was done missing holidays and birthdays with family. just curious how is Hawaii for him? my son is in Greece right now.

just stopping in to catch up and wish everyone a wonderful holiday. I am lucky to have one son at home, but the other in Greece is missing home very much. so sad. But I will make the best of this and see what happens next year

Dear Diane my thoughts and prayers for Aiden and family I even have my Mom praying for him she loves children and when I told her at your first notice that same night she started.My Mom prays every night for 2 hours and has a long list of family and friends and now Aiden but she told me she will have a little extra for him everynight .Bless your family and your beautiful Grandson and for Aidens parents.Is Mike your son.Big Hugs to you Hang in there

marianne it was definately an experience. when I got home is was on the news and I could say  was there. you guys were so much fun. next year I will be much more prepared.haha. I came home without my hat and 1 glove, dead camera battery and a cell phone I didnt know how to work. but I found my car and getting home was a lot easier. lol

Hi Jerseytina, yes I spoke to him for a bit this past Sunday thats when he told me about the shuttle tickets he got those on Sat. roundtrip about $50 bucks thats crazy he said finally this week his classes would be changed to days he is hoping that would be better. He is leaving Milwaukee around 9:30 am I hope all goes well and makes it on time. Is your son an ET also.Yeap Newark airport is 20 minutes also but I'll be working that day so he is to call me when he is ready for me to run pick him up I think Im a bit closer from my new office now then drop him off at home and then back to work Im already stressing out Im taking a longer lunch then Ill work later Ill be beat Im sure.But... PRICELESS MY SON WILL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS YIPPIE :)

navy25 he is leaving out of milwaukee also, but arriving in philly. it is only 20 minutes for us. have you heard from him? I havent heard from my son in about 2 weeks. last time was the snowman.
