Thanks for the warm welcome. I live in Tabernacle, NJ (south jersey). I just recieved my son's form letter yesterday and got his grad. date which is Sept. 2, 2010. I will wait until it gets a little closer before I make hotel accomodations. For those of you who drove to the graduation, How long of a drive was it, and where in NJ did you drive from? I've already written him and his 9 yr old little brother wrote him too. It felt good to hear from him, even if it was just a couple of lines that he was able to write on the form letter I recieved. I guess my next step is to look for a group ship 11 div 298.

Hello everyone, I'm new to navy 4 moms. I live in NJ and my son just left for Great Lakes on Tues. I recieved "The Box" on Thurs. that was a lil emotional recieving that. other than that, I'm holding up ok. Can't wait to hear from him. I hate not being able to just pick up the phone to call and say hi and see how he's doing. He'll be in bootcamp 8 wks then school to become a corpsman after that. Just thought I'd introduce myself.

Thank you Donna, I also surf around the net in bed before going to bed, just to double triple check that I don't miss a message from my Sailor. I've avoided coming to this page because the music came on and startled my Hubby!
