Thank you beans7469. We are suppose to leave Wednesday night and drive thru the night. We hope to get to our hotel mid-afternoon and rest. We also want to go to a meet & greet Thursday night.

i drove home from PIR 8/2012.  It did take 13 hours, that was with about 4 short stops( 10-20 mins).  But, my fiance was driving a little over the speed limit.  :/ We flew out, then rented a car upon arrival and drove it back to NJ.  The rates for renting are higher to only go one way.  If you take your own vehicle and don't mind long rides, I think you will be fine.  And, of course, PIR is worth every minute and dollar spent!  It is amazing!!!!  Enjoy!

Has anyone from south jersey driven to PIR. How long is the drive? I mapped it out on Google maps, it says 13 hours but my mother-in-law is telling me it will take us 16 hours.
