Welcome to everyone who has joined. We'd love to hear your stories about your NFO.
My son graduated in 2004, was winged in 2006, has been on one deployment, and was recently selected for Test Pilot School- yes they take NFO's! It's been an exciting and sometimes emotional few years.
Please tell us a little about yourself and your NFO. If you have questions about training, deployment, or anything else, please ask. There will be several members with experience to help out the newbies.

3 more weeks til winging....I'll definitely put up some pix!! We will be flying g from JAX to Sacramento afterward with Tracy's Kitty, Bob. Hope he can adjust to life with two other kitties! She is worried about stressing him out during her move to Whidbey Island so we're Kitty-sitting .. should be fun!

Hi NFO moms. Just recently retired and thought I would take some time to catch up on the N4m site. Glad to see this group and thought I would join. Our son has already been on a deployment and is now in VA Beach for a few years and is an instructor. He has a family and I am excited as we leave for a visit next week with them. I will get some updates and pics and fill you in on more after that visit. His journey began in OCS in Pensacola then to Lemore, CA then to VA Beach. He has been to many different places for training this is just where they have lived. He graduated from OCS July 2, 2004 and got married July 5, 2004 on the beach of Pensacola. Quite a weekend to say the least. Did his deployment to the Persian Gulf in '07 and returned in '08 where we(my husband and I) got to do a Tiger cruise from Jacksonville to Norfolk for 3 days. Unbelievable experiene. If you get a chance be sure to do a Tiger cruise. Talk to you soon.

Jets for sure but he's happy just doing what he's doing....I am very proud of his attitude about all of this...he'll take what he gets but is working very hard to get his choice.....he truly feels honored to be where he is right now.....so, whatever!!!!

Hi all. Haven't been here for a while. We're moving to NJ and everything involved absorbs our time. Our daughter finished SERE and is now deployed to El Salvador, but will soon transfer to Djibouti. Anyone have any experience with Djibouti and what to expect?

Does anyone else have a child/spouse in JAX training for P-3's with an expected winging date of 02 Sep? We'll be traveling out there from Sacramento, CA...it would be fun to hook up with some N4M folks! ~~ Patty

Hi everyone......it's been a while since I've posted. Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th.....my son took almost 2 weeks of leave and was home most of that time. He just left yesterday as he has to report back to P'cola on Friday. He starts API on the 16th...YAY!!! Anyone else classing up then? So glad the wait wasn't as long as they were told it would be.

Re the P-8. Our daughter is joining VP16 after SERE in a few weeks. She has heard that she might have a shot at the P-8 before the end of her 3 years with the squadron, but nothing specific.
