Good Saturday morning Nor. Cal. families, I hope you all have a nice weekend and that you hear from your sailors.
Please keep Chrissy in your prayers/thoughts; she finds out Sept. 1st what the Navy will do w/ her, she will be either FC3 or SN-undesignated. Of course we want FC3 she has worked very hard to get it, I hope and pray that the authorities that be will see that.

Proud Mom,
Chris from Vacaville
assures me that you are most welcome to contact her if you need help with anything. Her husband works on base and she is willing to go there and give him a "mommy Navy hug" from all of us. Will send you her regular email by pm.
As for the being on a ship, I really don't know how many MAs go on ships. Will have more info for you when I get in touch with Eric's wife and Nic'sLittleWife.

my son wanted to be on the ship, but he said that he might not get to do that at all. Does anyone know how you find out if you will have ship duty??

Finally saw my son on his ship. This was posted on the ships website. He's the one on the far right wearing a yellow shirt and baseball cap.

Only a mother could pick her child out of small picture like this. My husband didn't believe me that it was our son, so he had to enlarge the picture to prove me wrong, needless to say he was wrong and it is our son.

Just drop off LZ27 at the airport this morning. She was excited to be heading back to Newport for her son's OCS graduation. I was expected for her also. Graduations are one of the best times we get with our children!

Hi girls = just checking in. What an awesome retreat this weekend in Gardnerville. I feel renewed, and revitilized. Welcome to the new folks. Proud Mom - I belong to two groups that in Washington because that is where our sailor is stationed. They are amazingly helpful and I hope that we can also be that for you. Ask away - any questions that you may have. While I do not get here as often as I would like - I am confident that we will do our best to help you out.
I find that I ask the Mom's and Dads of the WA groups questions when we may be able to visit about places to stay, etc. It truly helps with mother nature - and transportation questions.

It has also provend to be very helpful for when things happen to sailors. For example we had a sailor who was involved in a serious car accident - and he was from Northern California. We may even having a M&G when you might be here and that would be a blast. WELCOME.

Our sailor is coming for a visit. I just secured a safe car seat from our KARE Crisis Care Nursery. What a great organization. Everybody have an awesome week. My angel blessings ~~S~~
