FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Miss you all. Just keeping up with the boys. Navy son just moved to WA. girlfriend joining him next week. She already has a job. SERE coming up weekend after this. I am happy for them. Happy Mothers Day to you all!

I've been scarce on here too Alaina, I think its' been really slow....I have no emails though. LOL

Pay, the wedding will be in Jacksonville.  Can we say HOT & HUMID?  They want to get married before his next deployment.  She seems very sweet, I'm heading back there next month to meet her and her family. (we've only talked on the phone and texted.)

Just found out my sailor will be on the USS Nimitz as soon as he's done with A school. Hopefully he gets leave before being deployed but don't know yet. Anyone ever been on a Tiger cruise? I'm glad he's based in Everett, Washington not to far to visit. He will be heliported to the Nimitz from San Diego.

Hey there - I'm up to beyond busy. Wedding this afternoon. We spent a week in the motor home @ North San Juan with the folks working on the church. Pictures are on my facebook page. I'm also in the midst of The Academy for Spiritual Formation - gads zooks - how did I get so busy???

I'm praying for all of you and your sailors. ~s~

Dave thinks shooting a round of golf is with a 12 gauge, not a 12 iron.  He says those little white balls are really tuff and hard to cook:)
