Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey everyone! Our son went to boot camp November 10. He is on Ship 12 Div 043. Is there anyone else out there? I still have not received a letter, but I have been sending him one everyday.

Hi Lynne, he got there 11/04/2010. I have not found anybody that has his division 039. I would just love to hear something on him...ran home hoping to find a letter and of course there wasn't one.

Just got word from my sons recruiter, he sent me Justins address, SHIP 07 DIV 048....so excited, now I can send off the letter I have for him!

Kate...I am not sure if you are going to be PIR 1/7 or 1/14 so you can join both if you would like and then just stay with the one you are actually in when you get the form letter...lol what date did your recruit go to RTC...that might help me guesstimate better...lol

Patti - didn't get letter yet but talked to my SR recruiter and he provided me with his mailing address. (Ship 12/ Div 040) He said that I should receive the letter any day now.

Excited to send off a little piece of home:-)
