FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Most of us have been posting discussions segregated by ship and division, but maybe we can get to know each other based on our PIR date--we will all be in Great Lakes on the same weekend.

Dee I am very happy for you and your sailor Seth!!
My son and other sailors "lost" their seabags and when they arrived to Meridian Ms they put a claim with the airline;thank God they took the seabags during the night to the base,in the meantime they did not have clothes to change.He went to the nex store and bougth some clothes...

Good morning
My son is in A School Meridian Ms;there is even a group for sailors that are studying there.Now he got his cel phone and he calls me often,thank God.He asked me to send him his laptop compu,dictionaries and earphones.

ahhh i'm so anxious for "THE CALL" my heart is beating so fast.. it should be soon! every hr im getting closer and closer!. Good luck to the rest of the div that had BS last night! im sure ur just as jumpy as i am!
